How cover for issue 23 of Ultimate X-men should have looked like, instead of this Greg Land’s [hilarious sexualisation] of shaving one’s head. To those who don’t know- shaving head by yourself to keep straight line is just so so so hard. It’s also impossible to not make weird faces at the mirror. Been there, done that.

The Judges, unmasked.
Atop the wings was a folded piece of paper, addressed to the New York Institute. After splashing water on her face, Maryse had taken the letter and read it. It was short - one sentence - and was signed with a name in a handwriting oddly familiar to her, for in it there was an echo of Valentine’s cursive, the flourishes of his letters, the strong, steady hand. But it was not Valentine’s name. It was his son’s.
Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern.
She held it out to Brother Zachariah. He took it from her fingers and opened it, reading, as she had, the single word of Ancient Greek scrawled in elaborate script across the top of the page.
Erchomai, it said.
I am coming.

… how come Viriska’s and Aradia’s outfits look almost the same? and are ALL Trolls shown as bugs? Are Trolls eventually insects that walk like men?
They look similar because all the outfits look similar. They look similar to John’s as well, though his is a bit simpler. The differences in the…
I never post on Tumblr, so I’m hoping my few followers can help me get this word out by reblogging…
I work for a hotel that hosts a major US con every year. I love anime and I go to cons myself, but I am going to be blunt about some of the problems we have and how we deal with them. I don’t…
There’s a reason I’m adding these photos. These are from May 15, 2010.
Why post them now? Nearly a full three years later? Because I found out, that the person I helped make their chakrams for their Axel cosplay, has been telling people that THEY made them all on their own. And apparently if I show these photos, she will try to pass it off that I made my own.
Problem: I only make the prop after the costume is finished. Or, if it’s a big project, I make the simplest part first (in one case it’s the prop!), then I will. But Axel’s chakrams are simple enough to do.
Three years ago, she asked me if I could help her with her chakrams for Axel. I agreed to help. So, she and I with the aid of my mom here and there, spent three hours making the pattern, sized to her. The next day, I helped my dad cut out both of the chakrams, and I helped her paint them.
I found out very recently that she has been telling people the last couple years that she made them all on her own. Normally I wouldn’t care too much, but I never got a thank you from her, and she was supposedly my FRIEND!
I believe in giving credit where credit is due. And I cannot stand by that she has gone and done this. So I am putting a stop to her saying this by openly posting the photos online at last. With no thank you, and her taking full credit for everything, I can’t abide it. The only thing she can take full credit for on them is making the grips for the chakrams and securing them.
The pattern? Both of us + my mom
Transfering the pattern to the MDF board? Me
Cutting it out? My dad
Sanding it? My mom
Painting? Both of us
Grip? All her
You’ll have probably seen her at Anime North 2010-2012 as Axel. If you recognize the way these are made… you know who I mean.
What I’ve achieved today.
Grell’s chainsaw is 90% assembled, and 30% painted. Another coat of red, then paint all the silver, black, gold details, attach the second handle, and paint that, then seal~! With any luck, this’ll be done tomorrow!
My new, original keyblade, I’m calling it Organization’s Twilight. I still have to transfer the pattern onto the other side, and then dremel, sand paint.. secure gems where needed…. and then seal it all!
